How to Set Up Your Email / SMTP To Send Emails With Your Own Domain
To send emails from your own domain through Reluxity CRM, you need to configure your SMTP settings correctly. This guide walks you through everything you’ll need, including provider rate limits and alternative options if your limits are low.
✅ What You’ll Need Before Starting
-

mail.reluxity.com
if you host email with Reluxity) -
SMTP port number (commonly
587
or465
) -
Email username (usually your full email address)
-
Email password (or app-specific password)
-
Encryption type (
TLS
orSSL
) -

💡 Note:
If you have email hosting with Reluxity, your SMTP server is will bemail.reluxity.com
.
If you use another email provider, you’ll need to get your SMTP credentials directly from them—check their help docs or contact support.
🔐 Important

-
The free version sends emails from
mail@reluxity.com
with your name and sets your Reply-To address so recipients can still respond to you. -
Upgrading lets you send from your own domain, which improves trust, branding, and deliverability.
📌 Understanding SMTP Rate Limits
Each email provider enforces sending limits—how many emails you can send per hour or per day through their SMTP servers. Knowing your limits helps avoid delivery delays or blocks.
Typical limits by provider:
-
Gmail (free): ~100–150 emails/day
-
Google Workspace: Up to 2,000 emails/day
-
Microsoft 365: ~10,000 emails/day
-
Zoho, GoDaddy, Bluehost, etc.: Varies widely (sometimes as low as 100–300/day)
If you’re sending newsletters, automated campaigns, appointment reminders, or follow-ups, check your provider’s limits to avoid interruptions.
✅ Prefer No Limits? Use Reluxity’s Mail Server Instead
If your provider has low SMTP limits—or you prefer not to manage SMTP—you can let ReluxityCRM send emails on your behalf using our servers.
-
No daily/hourly sending caps
-
Fully managed deliverability
-
Custom Reply-To address so replies go directly to your inbox
-
Requires a few DNS records (SPF/DKIM) to be added to your domain’s DNS (if you control DNS)
This is ideal if you want scalable, reliable email delivery but don’t want to deal with SMTP setups or limits.
